![]() Unshelled Reptiles reputation pacifies Rimewyks, which can be deadly in the midgame, and I think it may work on those new lizards with the various breath types that appear deep underground too. Getting neutral with Robots enables diving the Deathlands, which is game-changing. Rhinoxes used to be considered crabs but they're not anymore not sure what they are now. These include birds and the Issachari tribe (less annoying travel through the salt desert), goatfolk and the Naaphtali (less annoying travel through the jungle), trees/roots/succulents (don't get hammered by trees in the banana groves or hit by trap plants)Ĭonversely there's the factions I always want to get to friendly with to neutralize extremely nasty enemies, like apes, crabs, and robots. There are some factions with minor quality-of-life benefits to having friendly that I'll try to avoid taking a reputation hit to if I'm not getting anything worthwhile in exchange. (Water barons too-I don't think they even have any monsters that show up.) ![]() Antelopes, baboons, bears, cannibals, dogs, Girsh/glow-wights, mysterious strangers, snapjaws, swine, urchins, and worms are all factions without any great water ritual benefits and no powerful endgame threats to worry about pacifying, so I generally don't worry about irritating them. ![]()
